Prepaid Plans, also known as Bundles, is a group of products you can send to your friends and family back home. These can consist of data, minutes for local or international calls, SMS or other products. Usually they are a combination of the above!
How do I send a prepaid plan / bundle?
- Click on the adjustments button in the bottom right of the screen when you open the Rebtel app.
- Select Prepaid Plans / Bundles (it will say one or the other depending on the country you call)
- Select the person you want to send to from your list of contacts, or type in their phone number.
- Pick the best product for them
- Go to check out, and send!
Your contact will most likely get their prepaid plan in a few minutes, but if an operator is experiencing delays it can take a bit longer. Don't worry about a thing, they'll get their prepaid plan, it just might take a bit longer!
Are prepaid plans / bundles available to my country?
At the moment, we only offer prepaid plans to our users sending to India, Philippines, Cameroon, Haiti, Colombia, Mexico, Jamaica, Myanmar, South Africa, Dominican Republic, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Peru, UAE, Gambia, Guinea, Honduras, Pakistan, El Salvador, Mali, Burkina Faso, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Ecuador, Thailand, Panama, Costa Rica, Senegal, Bahamas, Somalia, Singapore,Sri Lanka, Benin, Togo, China, Trinity and Tobago, Indonesia, Mauritania, Guyana, Morocco, Spain, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Argentina, Yemen and Nigeria. Only postpaid accounts can receive prepaid plans at this time. It's a new product, and we're very excited about it! We hope and expect to add more countries and features very soon!
We don't charge commission, but your contact's operator may charge commission upon receiving the plan. Your contact should be aware of their operator's practices.
If the payment is denied, it will be displayed in red and you will receive an error message. The amount of the payment can appear in your account as a waiting transaction. The funds are held by your bank and will be returned to you.
